Calling in to Bar Cristallo It was still very cool spring weather the day my husband and I  left Polizzi Generosa, in mid May, after a few weeks in Sicily. And before we headed to the car, we stopped by Bar Cristallo, just down from the house on the main street, for a coffee.

Sicilian cassata for Easter lunch, drops of blue wisteria along a road in the Madonie and white in the historic garden of Casa Cuseni in Taormina, and the green mountains of the Madonie and the countryside close by dotted with vibrant yellows, pinks, reds and purples.
