A sacred procession, cassata and wild flowers 

A sacred and sorrowful Good Friday procession through the narrow streets of Polizzi Generosa under a full moon, balcony doors open and people waiting to glimpse the solemnity of the slow moving procession.

Sicilian cassata for Easter lunch, drops of blue wisteria along a road in the Madonie and white in the historic garden of Casa Cuseni in Taormina, and the green mountains of the Madonie and the countryside close by dotted with vibrant yellows, pinks, reds and purples.
