In the days spent in Polizzi Generosa during spring this year there were moments filled with a stillness: washing draped in the narrow streets; the aged stone of the centuries old buildings; the streets in the quiet hours of the afternoon and the discovery of the silence once again;

the glow of the setting sun; the lights of a spring festival glimmering against the darkness as people waited and views to the southern horizon from the terrace at the house, looking out over rooftops.

The photos were taken on the streets and stairways of Polizzi and from the house terrace, the village belevedere and piazzas.
